What the picture shows

Patchy snow and grass look the same all over the lawn, so at 50 pieces about 7 pieces in 10 have a near-twin. The sledge, the bucket, the wellies, the bin and the scarf stay easy at every size. The garden reaches about 8 in 10 at 100 and about 9 in 10 at 1000, where only about 1 piece in 20 is plain.

Start with the scarf and the bobble hat, then the face with its carrot nose. Place the red sledge, the blue bucket and spade, and the wellies. Add the wheelie bin, the shed door, the bird feeders and the robin. Then the houses, the fence and the shrubs. Fill the patchy lawn last, by how much grass shows.
