Christmas Cookies at every size

What the picture shows

A wooden worktop seen from straight above. Solving Christmas Cookies

One cutter made every tree, so the cookie shapes repeat, though each one's icing differs a little: about 5 pieces in 10 have a near-twin at 50 pieces and about 6 at 100. The cookies hold up well at 500 pieces, at about 8 in 10, level with Toy Shop Window and behind only Tree Ornaments and Christmas Dinner. Parchment, wood grain and sprinkles cover the worktop, so no piece is ever plain.

Start with the bowls and the rolling pin at the top right, then the four metal cutters. Lay the dark rim of the baking tray next; it frames the left half. Place the four snowmen, then the bells, the trees and the stars, on the tray first and then on the rack. The parchment and the bare wood are last, sorted by crumbs and flour.

Christmas Cookies is one of the easier Christmas boards at every size, and at 1000 pieces only Tree Ornaments has fewer look-alikes. At 100 pieces only Toy Shop Window and Christmas Dinner sort better.
